Filtering and Searching Data

Filters

If your dashboard includes a filter bar, you can narrow down all charts and tables at once.

Filter types

  • Dropdown: Select a specific value from a category column (e.g., Status = "Active")
  • Tabs: Click between category values shown as tabs (e.g., Department tabs)
  • Search: Type to search across text columns
  • How filters work

    Filters apply to all components in the dashboard. When you select "Q1" in a date filter, every chart, KPI, and table updates to show only Q1 data.

    Adding filters

    Use the AI chat: "Add a filter for the Status column" or "Add a search bar for product names".
